Module 1

I have just completed module 1 and enjoyed it thoroughly. I thought that the preparing for the course section was useful and after getting ready. I was able to select and choose from a range of resources that were available to support my learning. I liked watching the clips and listening to the range of information about web 2.0 and where we have come from. I also found it useful to think about telling somebody else what the differences were and this helped me understand (and learn) a little better.

I took some time to have a look at the top 25 web 2.0 tools available and found a really good list of tools in categories. I even found some that I wasn't aware of. (I downloaded some as well). The range was quite exhaustive.

I was able to sign-up and create an iGoogle home page and customised it to suit. I added a range of gadgets and enjoyed "playing" with these. I was interested to read that iGoogle will disappear in November 2013, but I was also interested to read that this will be replaced (in this course) by something else.

Overall, I would rate this course highly as it is self-paced, enjoyable and I am learning lots.
